Paris (Oh La La)

hello everybody. so "where she went" sequel to "if i stay" was released on tuesday, and it is phenomenal. officially 2nd favorite series. i loved if i stay, and if you haven't read it, you really should. if you have read it, where she went is told from adam's perspective, three years later and it really is just an amazing book. most of the chapters start off with verses from songs that adam's band, shooting star has written and they're amazing. of course, i love that considering anything that has to do with music or songwriting fascinates me beyond belief. i had where she went preordered, and amazon actually sent it to me a day early so i finished it on tuesday. i'm also reading need and the sequel captivate. i finished need, and i'm almost done with the sequel. i really hope there's going to be a third one! so in the world of music, you can officially buy the "itunes pass" for the new DCFC album, "codes and keys" which excites me. this means that you get a few songs that are pass only, and get some songs released early. you are a tourist is the lead single for the album, and it's great. the "pass only" song i got this week is house is on fire, and i adore that song. also in music land, i discovered oh land and grace potter and the nocturnals. i love both bands and their music now. One more great song, tonight tonight by hot chelle rae. if you listen to the radio alot, you've probably heard it. i don't have too much to say today, i'm still in a blue/sad mood, so i don't really wanna talk about myself :P On a side note, i am offically addicted/hate/adore/loathe angry birds. I also found out that matched and heist society each have sequels coming out :)

Harder to Breathe

hello y'all. it's been a rough week for me, to say the least, but i really don't want to talk about any of that! it's been snowing like crazy here lately, but suddenly today the clouds broke, the sky turned bright blue, and it got up to 62. tomorrow it's supposed to get to 70, which is very exciting. today i went down to a gully with my friend berry, who some of you probably know as ali from her blog, flightless bird, american mouth. we haven't been down there since last summer, so it was nice to be back there! i took lots of pictures, including the one above. this weekend i tried a raspberry italian soda with cream at my favorite coffee shop and i fell in love. best (non-coffee) drink in the world!!! <3 <3 <3 it was delicious paired with my usual spicy chicken panini on cibatta. mmmmm :) my mouth waters just thinking about that tasty treat. tomorrow is friday, which i am immensely grateful for. and no i'm not going to reference some hidiously awful massacre of a song that has to do with a day that starts with an f because frankly, i'm tired of the attention that awful song is getting. i've been extremely addicted to coldplay lately. and christina perri. most of you have probably heard of christina perri through her song jar of hearts. itunes is releasing a single every week leading up to her new album, lovestrong. i discovered an artist, oh land, who i am beginning to adore. she has a song called son of a gun which i love. that's all i have to say for today... until next time

hello. i'm blue today, it happens. but today wasn't a bad day, i hung out with one of my best friends, amelia and then i went to my favorite coffee shop with my friend emma. i don't have much to sat... can't really think of anything. i didn't have school yesterday because it was end of term. bleh i'm really not in the mood to blog, but i will post pretty much my favorite lyrics at the moment below. i don't think i've ever related to a song more.

Hello everyone! i realized today hey, I have not blogged in a WHILE! the photo above is the cover for christina perri's new single arms, which is my song of the week. if y'all don't know i have a "weeklies" section, over there ---------> on a different note, i don't often use my own photography on here because.. well IDK why i don't but i take a lot of photographs considering i'm my school newspaper's photographer :p so my car is finally MY car.. which takes a lot of drama out of my life. long story short, i was supposed to get my car about 6 months ago but i didn't get it until now. it was pretty great to be able to put all my cd's in the disc changers and all over my back seat :) I did something that excites me- i got new sheets. this would not excite normal people, but i was getting really warm in my hot flannel snowman "let it snow!" sheets so i went and got some funky white blue and purple SOFFFFTTT sheets :) this makes me happy. I also DEEP CLEANED my room the other day and made everything all perty. I was at the store the other day and saw these pretty vintage looking birdcages and it gave me an idea. I'm gonna get a few small birdcages and put them around my room and fill them with stuff, paper cranes, colorful stones, maybe some plants, just make it look cool :) I've had a recent obsession with paper cranes ( which has nothing to do with linger) *ahem cough* but i've been folding them out of old homework, pieces of paper i've written songs on, ect. then i hang them from fishing line from my ceiling over my bed, and Wala, i have tons of paper cranes hanging from my ceiling. My room is pretty cool, if i do say so myself. All the furniture is dark and antique looking with keyholes, i have light green and blue walls, and dark hardwood floors. then i have a brown and blue rug, and a comfy spinny chair. I have about 400 pillows on my bed, and posters of paramore, relient k and paris all over my walls. To top it all off, i have a wall of my photography on black and white shiny paper covering wall. Finally, I have vintage vinyl's all over. mostly, i just have the vinyl's themselves hanging along the top off my walls, but one small wall has my favorite cases all down it. That's my room, in a nutshell. My friend just showed me this awesome cover of "bad romance" by lady gaga, so youtube halestorm's cover of it :)another great lady gaga cover? just dance by disco curtis. i saw them preform it live and it was AWESOME. OOH! I TOTALLY FORGOT TO MENTION THIS! this summer i am seeing relient k at the warped tour! WAHOO! it's a few days before my birthday, so it will be an awesome week :) last year i went to warped and say disco curtis, the pretty reckless, rocketship to the moon, dropkick murphies, and alot more! i didn't know if i was going to go this year, but then relient k announced they were coming so of course i must go!

I Believe in a thing called Love

so i've been really obsessed with imogen heap and regina spektor lately. don't know why, i've just been in the mood :) i read a new book called matched. it was really good, although kinda hard to stick to. just so ya know, i've decided to make a bunch of origami birds and hang them from my ceiling. we got a huge snow storm here tonight, which means the world is quiet besides the hum of my laptop and my music. i've been writing a lot lately, songs, working on my book, poetry... ect. i've also been drawing a lot.this may be random,but i hope paramore starts recording a new cd soon. and i hope demi lovato releases her new album soon. i'm glad she's doing better. i don't know why i decided to blog tonight, because i have nothing to say. something extremely exciting that has happened is i finally get my car as MY CAR this weekend. first thing i'm going to do is throw a million CD's in it and buy some unnecessary thing to hang from my rear-view mirror.

hi! i am so excited right now! i was at my grandparents house looking for a small leather bag and i found an old camera!!!! i am obsessed with photography, and i adore taking pictures. i'm the photographer for my school newspaper. the camera i got is the canon ae-1 and it's so cool! i still need to get film for it and clean it up a bit but this is it!!!

I lurrrvvv it <3 i don't have too much to say, even though it's been about a week since i last blogged. my toenail came of and it's really painful1! chuck was AMAZING this week! the sarah wedding dress scene is so adorable! ummm... i really don't have anything to say! besides my excitedness for my camera, so until next time...

hello. so i felt like talking about myself. (it is a blog :P) i thought i'd tell y'all some stuff that i love. i can't go a couple of hours without my i-pod. literally, i will start going crazy. music is the world to me. i love to sing, and secretly i dream of being a singer, but i only sing around people i know well. i love cats more than i love dogs, but that could just be because i grew up with them. i think the best sound in the entire world is the sound of a cat's purr traveling through the springs in your mattress as you fall asleep. i can identify which of my cats is which by the jingle of their bell before they're even in the same room. i like to go for rides and take pictures of the sun. everyone i know jokes that i have cat-dar. if they're a cat within 500 yards i'll find it and become best friends with it. my friends also joke that i have car-dar because i can find our car in a crowded parking lot without any trouble. i like german chocolate, and i adore drinking lemonade. i pretty much always order the same things every time i go to restaurants.i secretly love s-car-go but i feel really bad about it because i had a pet snail who was my best friend for a few years. i think my brother is the most brilliant person in the world, even though he doesn't really talk to me. i have a knack for writing songs, and i love glitterly lotion. old quilts are the best thing on any day, and i sleep under a million blankets even if it's 100 degrees outside. i love flannel nightgowns even though most people think they're for old ladies, and i can't function unless i sleep twice a day- once at night and once in the afternoon. that's a little about me.
